Merida

We did a tour of Merida today. Excellent tour guide, Jose, he is a keeper for sure. He suggested a lunch venue, La Chaya Maya which serves traditional Yucatan food as opposed to normal Mexican food. Quite different, & delicious. All in all, a nice day. We are camped next to a modern shopping center. It even has an ice skating rink. Quite amusing watching all the Mexicans with walkers on the ice to stabilise themselves. I don't expect any Mexican NHL players anytime soon.
