Mouse dead, spring replaced

Well the trap only went off once, so I am thinking it was a lone mouse. I hope. I suppose I should leave one set all the time when stationary.

Got the spring replaced. As you can see in the photo the second leaf goes all the way to the eye so it should be much stronger. The old one sheared where the second leaf ended. I need to try & find 2 more and replace the other 3 at some time, summer at any rate. Obviously the stock ones are not strong enough. Probably cheap Chinese steel. At least I now have time to take Terry in the ocean, she whined a bit yesterday when I was busy doing this.
